Based in Nassau, Bahamas, the quasi-governmental, non-profit entity is managed by a Board of Directors headed by an appointed Chairman. Dr. Keith Tinker, Director, manages the day-to-day operations of the Corporation. He leads a team of qualified Bahamians committed to the preservation of history for future generations.
AMMC’s mission is to protect, preserve, and promote the historic cultural resources of The Bahamas, and to be the number one conservation agency in the world. We will do this while protecting our environment, encourage research and archeology, and by promoting our historical sites.
